NAMA Token Buy-Back Option Available
It’s been over 7 months since the NAMA project public launched, appreciate all community members' support ❤️. We have made massive progress since then and were planning to go for listing on exchanges eventually.
At this very moment before hitting the exchange, when taking a pause and looking back at what the NAMA project was trying to achieve, we found that the NFT market has changed rapidly and the NAMA economy model designed a half year ago was not great enough to cover the fast-changing needs in nowadays.
The current economic model only considered LOAN and FARMING, and after in-depth discussions with other token economists, they highly advised suspending the token listing for now and redesigning the economic model to fit the demands of the future of the project.
NAMA Finance will not only be focusing on NFT cross-chain lending and leasing, but also NFT cross-chain bridging, and providing APIs/SDK to highly integrate with the GameFi and more importantly the Metaverse.
So after careful consideration, we decide to postpone the token listing event, instead we will:
- Refine and re-design our economy model, including the token economy, to meet the latest market trend.
- Focus on feature implementation and enhancing the user experience of the dApp.
- We'd love to keep collecting feedback and constructive suggestions from all of you.
What airdrop winners can do now?
Airdrop winners can choose from one of the below two options:
1. NAMA Team buys back your NAMA token.
With this option, the NAMA team will buy back your NAMA token at price 1NAMA = $0.03BUSD ($0.03 was the planned initial price on the token listing)
2. Hold the NAMA token and trade later.
With this option, you can keep your NAMA token for now and trade them after the token listing later on, the new listing date is yet to be revealed.
Further details about the Buy-back Option:
What price will be the buy-back:
It will use the initial price planned for listing on Pancakeswap: $0.03
For example, if you have 200 NAMA, the respective BUSD is $0.03*200=$6
How the NAMA team buy-back works:
NAMA Team will provide an entry on the NAMA (to be announced in Telegram) for users to redeem their tokens.
Once successfully claimed, the respective value of BUSD will be sent to your wallet and the buy-back NAMA token will be burned right away.
When can I choose the buy-back option:
The buy-back option will be open to users from 15th Nov UTC and ends on 31th Dec 2021 UTC.
How much BUSD can be redeemed by an airdrop winner:
The maximum NAMA token per wallet is 75 (Round1 Airdrop) + 60 (CMC Airdrop) + 200 (Testnet Event Airdrop) = 335 NAMA.
So the maximum allowed redeeming amount is 335 NAMA per wallet.
If one address has less or equals 335 NAMA, we consider it a legit address.
If one address is holding more than 335 NAMA, we consider it a suspicious address trying to aggregate NAMA tokens from multiple other addresses. In this case, we will treat it as this address holding 335 NAMA only, no matter how many NAMA tokens it is actually holding.
