I Went to the Hyped-Up Pizza Express

… and Here’s the Real Deal

Pizza, being one of my favourite foods, has always been my interest. I try different places and love to give them my criticism.

India has countless pizza ventures now, and many of them claim to deliver authentic Italian. I wish to have authentic Naples pizza someday to be able to be a better critic, but as of now, I am still in search of the best pizza I've ever had in India.

You know how some places are so hyped, so raved about, that you just have to check them out?

Well, Pizza Express was that place for me. Every time I passed the food court in our nearby mall, this spot stared me in the face like, “When are you coming in?” And after hearing enough good reviews to fill a pizza box, I finally gave in.

Now, Pizza Express isn’t just your regular pizza corner — it’s a legit chain known for its hand-tossed gourmet pizzas, dreamy cheesecakes, and authentic Italian coffee. My fiancé had tried it before and gave it a thumbs up, so obviously, the pressure was on.

So one fine evening, we walked in, hand in hand, with stomachs growling and hopes sky high. And the moment they handed over the menu — I was sold.
