My First Dining Experience at a Taj
A luxurious buffet, a surprise date, and the beginning of my dream to visit all 200+ Taj hotels.
If you’re Indian, you know what the Taj is! If you’re not, and unaware, Taj Hotels is a luxury hotel chain headquartered in India.
It’s a dream for many Indians, including me, to visit one.
I have this wild dream of experiencing every Taj Hotel (there are 200+!) and creating my own list of the good and not-so-good in each.
Ten hotels of the Taj Group are members of the Leading Hotels of the World. Two hotels of the Taj Group were ranked in 2013 by Condé Nast Traveller among its “Top 100 Hotels and Resorts in the World”.

Now, if I’ve hyped you enough about the Taj Group, let me take you to my story.
One fine day, I randomly sent my man an Instagram reel featuring the best Taj hotels in India.
To my surprise, he booked us a lunch at Loya, an Indian cuisine restaurant at the Taj Palace, New Delhi.
