January 23, Thursday, became special for us in the morning because my fiancé picked me up for work, and we coincidentally both wore white and matching sneakers that we had once bought together — the university blue Jordans.

We were so thrilled by this unplanned twinning that we decided to leave work early to spend some quality time together. Amidst difficult personal times, we felt we deserved a mini getaway.

We went to The Irish House in DLF Mall of India, Noida, India and it was a breathtaking and unique experience.

The place embodied the spirit of traditional Irish pubs, offering a family-style restaurant with casual dining and a pub-like ambiance.

The walls were adorned with Irish facts and quotes, and the entire vibe was beautifully enhanced by wooden decor, including large wooden barrels placed throughout, with some mounted on the walls for added charm. I managed to capture some great pictures there.

There were quirky quotes on the walls and even a screen showing a cricket match.
