Chairman Clayton noted that he agrees that a digital asset’s definition as a security is “not static” and thus can change over time.

3. London Stock Exchange listed a new blockchain ETF today

Investment management company Invesco partnered with London-based Elwood Asset Management, an investment firm specializing in digital assets to introduce “Invesco Elwood Global Blockchain UCITS ETF” on London Stock Exchange today. This ETF index will track 48 blockchain related companies, including cryptocurrency chip-maker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), bitcoin futures trading operator CME Group, South Korean messaging app giant Kakao, Japanese cryptocurrency exchange operator Monex Group, online retail giant Overstock, Signature Bank and Square.
