School kit for kids

As someone has said, Knowledge Liberates!

One cause at a time, we are slowly moving the needle. This month’s contributions will provide school kits for kids at a lower primary school in the Kottayam district of Kerala, India.

The school kits will contain the following items:

For the lower primary kids who are in need (around 28 children), we will provide the kits with a School bag, Notebooks (one each of 4-line, 2-line, single line and plain), Crayon set, Pencil box with 2 pencils, a Pen, Scale, Eraser and a Sharpener and a roll of Brown book covering paper.

Some kids are from the Nursery classes (around 8 children) who will receive a School bag, Slate, Slate pencils, ABCD book, Drawing book, Crayon set, Malayalam Aksharamala (basic letter teaching books for Malayalam language) and a Water bottle.

Thanks to my best friend and his wife, who brought up this cause and is working hard to make it happen. They both are helping to make sure items are purchased at a reasonable price and distributed to the kids who are in need. I’m glad to have them directly go to the school to hand over the kits in the upcoming weeks.

Special thanks to everyone in the Nanma group and our friends who contributed to this great cause.
