No pain, no gain is one of the truest saying ever.

Life is a process of learning and experiencing different waves of pain to be who you desire to be.

No pain, no gain is one of the truest saying ever.

Whatever path you choose to take, life will test, shake you, and teach you. There’s no escaping the pain. But you have to choose your pain wisely.

The process of becoming is forgiving

Life will test you in several forms of troubles and disappointment. It is your ability to forgive yourself no matter how many times you've tried and failed that will keep you going.

The process of becoming is outsmarting resistance
Be ready to shut down the tiny or loud voices in your head; the ones always chastising you, saying you can't do it.

Yes! Resistance doesn’t want you to embarrass yourself but you have to say no and lockout its voice.

Here’s how to use the philosophy of resistance against resistance.

  • Be publicly committed, be accountable to people when you set a certain goal or goals for yourself.
  • Be able to walk through the process: Process locks resistance at home.
  • Profit/ loss: There will be times you lose, but there’ll be moments of gain too. Count your loss and profit through your process of becoming.
  • Post-dated: Outsmarting resistance is putting a date to every of your outlined goals. Have a timeline and work towards meeting it.

The process of becoming is to quit being an asshole

Assholes do not value the process.

To become who you don’t use to be, you have to be intentional about what you do. You have to be teachable, be ready to listen, and heed to other people's opinions on how to be the better version of you.

The process of becoming is being vulnerable
"SHAME is the flip side of vulnerability. We avoid opening ourselves to the connection art brings because we fear that we will finally be seen as the fraud that we are” — Seth Godin

Vulnerability is the fear of letting people see how flawed you are. The fear of being judged. The fear of being seen as the fraud you think you are.

In the process of becoming, you have to be willing to let people in and see you for who you are. Be ready to be judged and corrected.

Growth can happen only when you are willing to let people see your vulnerability.

Final Thoughts

The process of becoming is not an easy one, neither is it for the faint minded.

To become who you intend to become in life, you need to and must have a grounded, solid mind, only then would you win the tests life would throw at out.

Some tests would shake you, some can shape you into being the better version of you. However this happens, your mindset has to be solid to the commitment you've made to the process of becoming.
