In May of 2018, Ryan LeFevre (AKA Meltingice) created nano.meltingice.net, a new block explorer where anyone could navigate the Nano network and easily assess its health. Having rebranded his site to NanoCrawler this past September, Ryan has continued to provide the Nano community with a well maintained, intuitive and important tool to for exploring the Block Lattice.
With intuitive functionality and global accessibility, Ryan and NanoCrawler have embraced the open spirit of Nano by implementing sixteen different world languages with the help of the Nano community. Remaining in line with the fee-less nature of Nano, Ryan has also ensured that Nanocrawler remains an entirely ad-free service for the community.
Today the Nano Foundation welcomes Nanocrawler.cc and its beta network counterpart under our umbrella, and the services will now be hosted on SSD-backed Nano Foundation servers. Nanocrawler.cc is an important asset and tool for the Nano community and we would like to extend a big thank you to Ryan for his continued dedication to this project.
