Solidus Release Candidate 1
Now available on the beta network.
Solidus is ready to make its first appearance on the beta network, and testers are now invited to upgrade their beta nodes to V19 RC1. As Solidus brings a significant amount of large scale changes to the node software, testers can expect further Release Candidates to appear as testing progresses.
RC1 contains both the Confirmation Height and Dynamic Proof of Work features, with TCP overlay being included in RC2.
Help us test
The Solidus release represents a milestone in the development of the Nano protocol and as such will be subjected to rigorous testing on the beta network by both the core team and our army of dedicated community testers. To increase the efficacy of the testing, we have prepared some specific instructions on areas which require more focused testing. These details can be found here.
If you wish to participate in testing on the beta network, please visit https://beta.nano.org to get started. Community testing is crucial to the final quality of the release, and anyone who runs a beta node is invited to join the #beta-net channel on Discord.
As always, it is a great privilege to have such an active community of beta testers. The feedback and bug reports you provide are beneficial in contributing to a quality final release. Thank you!
