NaNoWriMo 2015 Day 21

I keep thinking that maybe I will sit down and bust out a few thousand words at a time, but I just have not had the motivation to try and crush my daily goal by that much. I enjoyed hitting it hard on Day Seven when we had the Double Up day, but I have just tried to keep plodding along and shooting for 2k a day.

One of my friends told me the one thing they appreciated most about NaNoWriMo was that it can help establish a daily writing habit, and I am in complete agreement with that. They may not be the most beautiful words at the end of the day, but later on I can polish, edit and recalibrate for maximum velocity.

That day is not today however, as we still find ourselves in November, and I still have a story that is not done telling itself!

Day 21: 2,023 words.
