Day 29 — I Finished and Published My Book
I didn’t think I would make it before the last day of November, but it happened, it’s been done
The book is finished! I published the ebook edition today on Amazon and uploaded the manuscript to Draft2Digital. The official publishing date is December 10, but it will be available for pre-order till then at a discount.
I have only to finish formatting the paperback edition (adding the last touches) and I’m DONE. Tomorrow, when I upload and publish the paperback, I will feel like a NaNoWriMo winner. It’s not a 50,000 words book, but I’ve achieved my goal and that’s all that matters — the book is out!
It was hard and I feel exhausted after the initial thrill and excitement gave way to the consequences of not having enough sleep and working too much for a whole month. I will party in December, I guess, now I just need a very long shower and a good night sleep (which is unlikely, given the three furry creatures I live with, two of which are extra spoiled cats).
