My hands sort of feel like the ones in the picture look after typing all of those words…

While I was typing away on my NaNoWriMo adventures last night, I came across a fascinating bit of information that I wanted to share with you all before I forgot about it.

If you wish to double your writing speed by doing only one thing differently, pretend that you have a mouse locked in the room with you. Every time you stop typing you run the risk of the little bugger running up your pant leg, or crawling across your idle hands on the keyboard.

If you are the sort that is more interested in even more adventure and peril, try it in a room with a live mouse.
