Katharine is a dancer, a novelist, and by day the Communications Manager at the National Novel Writing Month nonprofit.

All funds from this Members-Only post go entirely to the National Novel Writing Month 510(c)(3) nonprofit based in Berkeley, California.

Welcome to the fourth episode of NaNoWriMo Superheroes and Superheroines on Medium. Throughout the month of November we’ll interview people with different backgrounds, day jobs, and involvement with this annual writing event. All of our superheroes and superheroines have one thing in common — they accepted the challenge to write a 50,000 word novel first draft in the month of November.

What does Katharine Gripp do as the Communications Director do at NaNo? Listen in to find out, and hear her answer to a question posed by Ben Werdmuller.

You can find Katharine Gripp on Medium, NaNoWriMo, and her personal website.

Our next NaNoWriMo Superhero on Medium will be Tim Kim, who is the Programs Director for National Novel Writing Month. This is Tim’s 12th NaNoWriMo and he’s exploding with enthusiasm for this program we love so much.
