NaNoWriMo Writers, Thanks for Another Wonderful November on Medium
There is only one good reason I know of to write a novel.
Because you want to.
And if you want to, November is a great month to write a novel because 300,000+ people will be writing the first draft of a novel at the same time.
Are you going to have a perfect novel on November 30?
Not likely.
But you’ll have something. And something is better than another year where you still want to write a novel, but haven’t.
Be proud. Whether you sailed past 50K into 6 digits, or hovered around 5K, you have prose that didn’t exist together before you started.
I’ve savored all Medium posts written by our tribe this month. I’ve discovered new writers that I’m excited to follow in the months beyond November.
