This Story Will Just Not Die…

NaNoWriMo 2015 Day 10

Everytime I sit down to write, I think I have an idea of where the story is going to go. For the first few days it did, and I felt pretty good knowing that I had made a plan and stuck to it.

Now that I am on day 10 of this writing adventure, I realize that the deeper I go into the story, the less I feel like I know where the characters are going to take things. They seem to be dashing off into all sorts of different directions that where I thought they might go, but I’m trying to stay in the story and let them tell me where they wish to go next, instead of me trying to force them to do something else.
