I learned that…

I can do it.

I can sit down for an hour or so, each day, and let words flow out of my mind and onto the screen.

The hardest part is starting.

The second hardest part is finishing (I still have to finish my 60k+ word novel).

Writing is as much a soul care practice for me as it is a creative expression.

I need to write.

I have a voice, and I need to let it be heard.

It was totally worth it.
