Naoris Protocol, the Blockchain and AI-based Decentralized CyberSecurity Mesh that aims to restore cybersecurity across all sectors of the economy, is excited to announce a partnership with Criminal Policy Research Center (CPRC) and its cybersecurity branch CSEC (Cyber Security Excellence Centre).

CPRC is a non-profit agency that conducts scientific and policy research with the aim of improving and promoting public policies in the domain of prevention and suppression of all forms of criminal, illegal and antisocial behavior in Bosnia Herzegovina.

The Cyber Security Excellence Centre (CSEC) was established as part of the Criminal Policy Research Centre to strengthen cybersecurity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom.

Bosnia and Herzegovina finds itself in a disadvantaged position, being the last Western Balkans country with no functioning all-encompassing Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT).

This leaves B&H, its government, economy and citizens exposed to cyber harm to the extent that may jeopardize the potential benefits of digitalization for the economy and society, and the country more exposed to malign external influences in the cyber domain. CSEC aims to create the country’s first academic and sustainable CSIRT.

Naoris Protocol is scaling the Decentralized Cybersecurity Mesh to protect every device in the digital world, allowing networks to defend themselves from cyber-attacks using disruptive Swarm AI and Blockchain technology. Naoris Protocol is designed to reduce cybersecurity risks and costs significantly, addressing the staggering $10 trillion global opportunity, which is the projected cost of cybercrime by 2025.

By converting traditionally untrusted network devices into a swarm of cyber-trusted validator nodes, Naoris Protocol makes networks stronger as they grow, not weaker. Powered by a tokenized cyber-secure machine-to-machine economy, single points of failure are converted into multiple points of defense that identify risks in real-time under consensus. Naoris Protocol is also complementary — traditional cyber tools can operate freely without being in competition.

What is the purpose of this partnership?

The partnership between CPRC, CSEC and Naoris Protocol aims to enhance cybersecurity through Naoris’s Decentralized Cybersecurity Mesh, leveraging Swarm AI and Blockchain technology. This alliance will strengthen Bosnia-Herzegovina’s cyber defenses and provide a research base for decentralized systems’ efficacy. Meanwhile, Naoris gains from CPRC & CSEC’s expertise in policy research, informing the development of its technology in combating the rising costs of cybercrime. Additionally, CPRC’s educational programs will promote Naoris’s solutions, while Naoris’s tech compatibility ensures easy integration with existing systems. Together, the entities will not only counteract immediate cyber threats but also develop long-term security strategies, educational initiatives, and awareness campaigns, contributing to a proactive and secure digital environment.

Predrag Puharić, Principal cyber and infosec researcher at CPRC commented: “Our partnership with Naoris Protocol signifies a leap forward in combating cybercrime by merging policy research with tech innovation. It is a proactive step towards a more secure digital future for everyone.”

David Carvalho, CEO, and Founder of Naoris Protocol commented “We are excited to partner with CPRC as their mission completely aligns with Naoris Protocols. We look forward to enhancing and supporting their core aims to improve cyber defenses and manage cyber threats through services, education, and raising awareness about cybersecurity importance.”
