Napier points
Napier points represent each user’s participation level in the Llama Race/Quest. These points can be exchanged for NPR tokens at TGE date.
How to collect Napier points
Napier points can be earned through a variety of actions, including
- Actions qualifying for a head start include holding veCRV or vlCVX.
- Holding PT/YT or LP positions.
- Boosting Napier points by engaging with actions related to Napier’s partner LST/LRT projects, such as holding PT/YT/LPT.
- Earning additional Napier points through spreading the word via referral links on social media and more.
How are Napier points rewards calculated?
- More detailed information on how Napier points are calculated and about the points themselves will be released as we get closer to the Llama Race launch.
LlamaRace
The Llama Race will start the week of March 17 to March 29, a few weeks before the mainnet launch of Napier Finance.
It’s a gamified point-earning competition designed to highlight user contributions within the Napier and Curve ecosystems.
As the Llama Race progresses, aiming for a higher rank increases the amount of NPR tokens you can earn at TGE date.
By earning points and climbing the leaderboard, users improve their rank, and the illustration displayed in the UI gradually evolves into a rarer version.
The generated illustrations can be minted as NFTs at the end of each chapter of Llama Quest. Additionally, these illustrations can be posted on social medias like Twitter, along with personalized referral links.

Llama Quest consists of five chapters, representing Napier’s journey to make Curve the home of LST/LRT again.
Llamas Getting a Flying Start
Before starting Llama Quest, early Napier and Curve community members can earn Napier points in advance for a head start.
Details on who is eligible for Napier points and the timing of snapshots will be announced later.
Chapter 1
Chapter 1 begins with simple social activities. By completing the easy quests specified in Chapter 1, everyone has the opportunity to earn Napier points.
Chapter 2 and beyond
From Chapter 2 onwards, Napier Finance will finally launch. There will be many opportunities to earn Napier points through various actions, such as holding PT/YT/LPT.
Also, from Chapter 2 onwards, a boost program will be implemented in collaboration with Napier’s partner LST/LRT projects. By engaging in actions related to these partner projects, such as holding PT/YT/LPT, users can multiply the Napier points they earn.
As more projects are built on Napier and Curve, we anticipate the Race will become even more competitive. We are open to exploring partnerships and collaborations.
Final Destination: A home of LST/LRT
The exact duration of the Llama Race is yet to be determined, but under the mission to ‘make the Curve ecosystem a home of LST/LRT again, we will face our rivals.
Along the way, as the community grows and the liquidity of the Napier and Curve ecosystems deepens, leading to their expansion, we expect more opportunities to collect Napier points will arise.
More detailed information about the Flying Start and the calculation of points will be revealed as we get closer to our final destination.
