Hello Culture; Who Inspired Me

The one person who has stuck with me after being at hello Culture is Nick Robertson.

Nick spoke about how he was trying to get into acting and was working in London as a barista while going to auditions. Around this time snapchat had just pop up as a new way to socialise.

Nick started using snapchat to producer skits and started building up an audience just by recording a 10 second video of him doing something humorous.

He then went on to produce a snapchat show which was founded by one of the actors in the American show The Office.

By using a platform such as snapchat and tiktok it shows how the world is evolving from the age of television, with the big black box giving it a hit on the side when it stops working to having these applications on your mobile phone to take a video of 15 seconds or less which is then sent out to millions across the world.

It amazing to see how producing online content is being seen as an actual medium and not just for fun.
