Treason:
I lie through you,
I lie clogging up your faith.
You knew everything, and you kept going,
you did not give up.
You get to the bottom.
Now, you are facing my anger
Looking at me, waiting
I reach for you.
Basil is still green even amid resentment,
It is floating over the water
with which you fill in a jar of vanilla yogourt.
