As the utilization and adoption of blockchain technology progresses, the business and influencer landscape is continually transforming.

The relationship between ShareNode and the NASGO platform has caused some confusion among the community; we hope to shed some light and clarify the situation.

Separate Entities

ShareNode is a privately owned business entity.

NASGO is a blockchain platform that anyone can build on.

ShareNode’s community and business model utilizes applications and services built on the NASGO platform, but NASGO is not the owner or partner of ShareNode.

NASGO was developed as a response to the market needs that its founders were facing; the need for validation, transparency, and scalability without fear of fraudulent transactions. The blockchain technology solves this problem while tokenization allowed for scalability as 3rd parties begin to build on NASGO.

3rd Party dApps and Side Chains

3rd Parties Building on the Platform

ShareNode saw an opportunity to use NASGO’s platform for its business model and decided to build on the platform.

Since ShareNode was one of the earliest adopters of the NASGO platform, it was not difficult for ShareNode to get the attention of NASGO and offer to collaborate on events and promotions. As a brand new technology platform, NASGO was excited to see some new companies building on the platform.

This also meant that NASGO was enthusiastic to cross post ShareNode news and information on NASGO’s official social media or blog, as the NASGO team was excited to promote 3rd parties building on the platform.

However, just as sellers on the Amazon platform do not represent or speak on behalf of Amazon, so ShareNode does not represent or speak on behalf of NASGO.

Guidance for ShareNode Members

1. No ShareNode member should be representing themselves as a spokesperson for NASGO or any of the NASGO based applications (Amico, VAPR, etc).

2. ShareNode members should NOT seek technical support regarding ShareNode apps and products on official NASGO social media or chat groups as these issues can only be resolved by ShareNode.

3. ShareNode members should NOT create social media groups (public or private) using the NASGO name and logo, with the intention to create the perception of operating an official NASGO community; As in, not using group names such as: “Nasgo Nation”, “Nasgo Group”, “Nasgo Official” or anything that sounds as if NASGO is the one operating or representing the group.

Warning: This is NOT an “Official” Nasgo Page

4. ShareNode and NASGO may collaborate on various events (Dolby Theater celebration October 2018, NASGIVE Humanitarian Missions, etc.) only with NASGO’s express and written permission.

Why was this Clarification Necessary?

ShareNode has been one of the early adopters of the NASGO platform, and as such, they have had the loudest voice. However, the confusion and trouble that many ShareNode members have caused for NASGO (by intentionally or non-intentionally blurring the lines between ShareNode and NASGO) have created a situation in which this type of clarification is needed.

As a result of the general lack of clarity, any negative news or problems on ShareNode’s business have spilled into NASGO social communities and chat groups. While NASGO hopes to support any project building on NASGO’s technology, we also have no control over who builds what on our decentralized platform.

NASGO as a Decentralized Tokenizing Machine

This Comes with Decentralization

There may be times in the future where some 3rd parties might build an app or project on NASGO’s platform that does not align with or represent the views of NASGO’s developers, founders, partners, or team. We can not control or censor who builds on our decentralized blockchain platform, but we will always be willing to offer support to positive projects building on our ecosystem!

We appreciate our community members and the ShareNode members who have supported NASGO. Your continued support and clear communication is a must for furthering blockchain technology which is built on the concept of transparency.

If you are a 3rd party building on our platform we would love to hear about it in our social media or chat groups. Join our Telegram or Official Discord server and share your project with the community!
