As a Canadian, what do you care about at any conference in the smackdab middle of winter?

If you didn’t say “the cold,” you haven’t been to enough January conferences (or you’re from British Columbia and don’t own a real jacket—HEYO!!!!!!!!!).

This Jan. 4–7, 2018, NASH80 attendees who choose the hotel package will stay blissfully away from even the whisper of wind. They’ll get the white-pillowed, white-duveted luxury of 3 nights in a Toronto hotel, going straight from their rooms at the Chelsea to the conference space at the Chelsea. They’ll enjoy dinner on the 4th and 6th, at the Chelsea.

Did we mention we’ll be staying at the Chelsea Hotel, in Toronto…?

Aside from cushy beds, great views, good food and a fully accessible venue, the Chelsea comes with a few other things you’ll want to know about.

First, there’s the salt-water pool that’ll be open for you to use. Salt. Water. Pool. That’s right.

Then you’ve got this wall of beauty in the lobby (in the grey Toronto winter, you have no idea how much this will matter):

Right on the ground floor, there is an INDIAN BUFFET. This weighed very heavily in our choice of hotel. And after lunch, you can go take a nap right upstairs:

And of course, you’ll be right in the middle of the action—a 2 minute walk from Ryerson University, a 5 minute walk from Yonge-Dundas square and the Eaton Centre, and a 10 minute streetcar ride from Kensington market + Financial District + the lakeshore.

All of that, right now, for $385 if you’re a CUP member and $485 for non-CUP members. What the salt-water-pool are you waiting for?!
