Nash Extension and ICO lottery walkthrough

Countries

If your country is not listed in the drop-down menu for the lottery, it has been blocked from registering at the behest of our legal team.

Countries that unfortunately cannot participate in our lottery, KYC or ICO:

Algeria, Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran, Ivory Coast, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Morocco, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Syria and Vietnam.

Countries allowed to enter the lottery but which may not be able to participate in KYC (according to our global KYC requirements):

China, South Korea and the United States.

Security

Neither your username nor password is recoverable. Please write them down and store them in a safe place. You will also need to store the private key backup code that we generate for you, and we strongly recommend saving the encrypted key. All Nash Extension storage is local! Nothing is sent to our servers, so if you want to use the same account on another computer, re-create the account and select the option “Import an existing wallet”.

When creating an account, you will be asked to choose a visual signature consisting of a security color and word. This is for authenticity verification. Every time the Extension asks you for your password, it should present you with your visual signature. If it is missing, do not enter your password.

Lottery results

On 31 March 2018, the lottery result for the NEO address you provided upon registration will be viewable. You can check your result by logging in to our web platform through the Extension. You will not receive an email.

Multiple registrations

Multiple people can register different accounts on the Nash Extension. However, make sure to use a valid ID. Any attempt to manipulate the process is considered fraud and will result in immediate exclusion from the lottery.

Why do I need to install the Nash Extension?

For participating in our ICO, we require the Extension to ensure you are the owner of the NEO address from which you are submitting. More importantly, Nash is not only a decentralized exchange. It is an ecosystem of digital asset products that link seamlessly with each other. The Extension is a browser-based wallet that will allow you to connect your account to a variety of dApps and websites. Install the Nash Extension here.

Why does the Extension have so many permissions, and will it really read my data?

The Nash Extension will not read or change any data that could potentially harm you or cause damage in any way. We ask for these permissions because the Extension will interact with websites and dApps that will require the same permissions. We will be able to inform you if a site/dApp is malicious or if it has been whitelisted for use with the Extension, e.g. a third-party online store. Requesting permissions is very common among the extensions, phone apps and websites that you already use.

Any usernames, passwords or keys used or generated through the Nash Extension are stored locally in your browser, not in a central database. We have no records and will never have any records of this information.
