New benefits for AI Grant winners

AI Grant is giving away ten grants of $5,000 each to people doing interesting work in AI.

With three days left until the application deadline (April 30th), I’m excited to announce some new benefits for AI Grant winners.

First, Microsoft will be providing $1,000 in Azure credits to each winner, which can be used to run n-series VMs with Tesla K80 GPUs.

Second, FloydHub is a hosted platform for running your DL training tasks in the cloud, and will be providing 250 Tesla k80 hours free to each grantee.

And third, Scale offers a simple API for getting humans to perform discrete intelligence tasks like labeling images or transcribing audio, and will be giving $1,000 in free API credits to all winners.

Altogether this is nearly a 50% increase in the total value of AI Grant for each winner. Thanks to Microsoft, ScaleAPI and FloydHub for these generous donations.
