Two weeks ago, the German Parliament voted to legalize same-sex marriage after Angela Merkel’s outstanding political manoeuver:
This week on Wednesday, it was the Maltese Parliament’s turn to vote and almost unanimously legalize the “marriage for all”.
But what was a fantastic evolution in Germany appears to be a revolution here: Catholicism is the state religion, divorce has only been legalize in 2011, and abortion is not a right for Maltese women yet.
