Why Nationall?
We think society as a vast and spread community. We want this community to live in a place without walls. We consider this place as a space shaped for diverse people to talk and share. We know people to be amazingly unique and having the right not to be sidelined. We think Europe is a tremendous place for this vision to happen.
The modern construction of Europe has been remarkable. After thousands years marked by recurrent wars, our governments may have hacked the course of history to finally set a sustainable peace. They’ve built a shared system where institutions are united, where commerce is facilitated and where European people can circulate freely. This system creates the environment for European possibilities.
However, the system’s purpose is not to exploit those possibilities and make them happen. That’s the reason why the European society doesn’t exist yet; we guess that’s where the frustrations hold. As to us, the initiative of creating people’s Europe and building a European society has to come from its citizens. The will to live together must come from us, from everyone as a collective.
That’s why, as two citizens, we’re funding Nationall: a company aiming to break the borders between Europeans and get us closer together. That’s not possible if we don’t know each other, and we can’t get to know each other if we don’t hear from each other.
In every country, media fulfill the responsibility to spread news in order for distant people to care for others. Unfortunately, those media are intra-national : a French never hears from the life of an Estonian, and even very rarely from a German. Furthermore, the stories we get are anesthetized by the journalistic style, preventing us from seeing with the eyes of one another.
That’s the initial stand point of our adventure, spreading news and stories to Europe, written by Europeans. Now, let’s start building our society together so that maybe, later, nations would just be part of history.

WRITE FOR EUROPE / Building our society together
This platform is not really a newspaper. This is definitely not a blog either. It’s just better.
We want anyone from the European community to feel at home everywhere in Europe and to be aware of themselves. Anyone who lives in Europe can contribute by expressing themselves about the following topics :
- Lifestyle: how is it to live in your city ? Give us tips to eat, drink, party, sleep and work well and cheap there.
- Fashion: what we wear is the reflect of our identity.
- Food: what do you cook ? We want to eat like you do.
- Events to come: to get to know how awesome Europe is and go out together.
- Politics & Business: that’s news’ core, isn’t it ?
- Local stories: news which get us to understand each other better.
- Art & Culture: they both express far more than words do.
- Sport: to vibrate together.
- Personal finance: money is often what separates us. Give us tips to live with less and forget about it.
- Fiction: it’s a way of dreaming together.
How to write ?
Medium is a platform where anyone can write anything and find an audience. It allows you to easily produce beautiful work and share it anywhere. It also allows initiatives like Nationall to gather writers in a single place, just like a newspaper would do.
Therefore, to publish in Nationall, just take one minute to create a Medium account here. You’re not forced to, but signing in with Facebook will allow us to get in contact with you and help us gather the community. We won’t get any data, it’s just a better way for us to talk to you.
Once it’s done, write your first article in english and publish it. Every article you write is yours: you can share it anywhere and it will always appear on your profile. Afterwards, to publish in Nationall for the first time, just send us the link by completing this very short form :
Publishing there is a way for you to contribute to the European project and get visibility for your words. Again, each piece you publish in Nationall will appear the same on your profile, and anyone will have the opportunity to start following you from our page. Moreover, on our side, we want your stories to be read, so we’ll do our best to spread them.
After the first submission, we will add you to the publication as a writer. That will allow you to directly submit your following articles by clicking on the three dots at the bottom of your article / Add to publication / Nationall. No more form to complete.
