This is my first Medium post and it is of great pleasure to be able to introduce you to a new attempt for promoting and showing off the beauty of one of the most photogenic countries of the world: Greece.
Through my posts , I will try to give you advise , tips and secrets not only for Greece but also for other destinations around the world.
I am actually starting with Greece because I am Greek and I love this country more than anything else.
A few years ago, along with some friends , we started our mission to give as many as possible information for some of the greek islands.
2 years after and with more than 40K/month readers from all over the world, our network of travel blogs for Santorini island , Mykonos island and Crete island in Greece are now some of the most visited and informative websites you could possibly find out there.
Our mission is really to give inside tips and secrets that you won’t read elsewhere.
You know…the useful stuff…the things that you want to know in order to make your trip easier.
The practical information like: which bus should you take, how to avoid the tourist traps, where do the locals eat, what should you order when you are starving, where is the best street food, what ferries will cost you the less and of course inside tips for hotels, what are the best areas to stay or what is the best and worst time of the year to visit the locations that we cover.
We are not planning to become another TripAdvisor or a travel catalog website.
We are not planning to become another hotel booking website (even though we support our efforts through affiliate marketing) neither it’s in our plans to create one more of those millions of travel blogs from people who are actually travelling the world.
We are not travelling the world nor we pretend to do so.
We are pretty broke at the moment to do that…
We like travelling around though, but we are mostly based in Greece for most of the year.
Apart from our super informative travel blogs for Greece we have also set up amazing Instagram accounts to promote Greece’s beautiful islands which you can find all over Instagram (@santorini.secrets , @mykonos.secrets , @crete.secrets )
Now….let us head back to the beach, will you?
