One morning a neighbour and I went for an early morning stroll from Rodmell to Southease. These are some of the delights we saw along the way:
There were loads of Reed Bunting, Reed Warblers and Sedge Warblers. We also heard and briefly saw a Cettis Warbler.
There were Lapwing, Little Egret and a Buzzard.
My neighbour, Mike Unwin,is an experienced naturalist. He taught me a little about birdsong and the behaviour of Meadow Pipit and Skylark. They both rise and fall singing in a similar fashion.
Fun was had.
