We Have A Winner!

We have a winner! For the past couple of months, we have been working with surprise getaway travel company Pack Up + Go on a promotion to win $1,500 in our “SeedStakes” contest (our clever play on sweepstakes) and we are thrilled to announce we have a winner.
It is Janet from Austin, TX! We had the pleasure of meeting her at a vendor market in Texas where we learned she is a small business owner who makes beaded pens and other creations. You can follow her on Instagram @lovely.mona.tx

A Busy Two Week On Our Vibe Tribe!
Last week was a busy one for Nature’s Playbook and we’re at it again this weekend. We are stoked to share these updates and exciting news.
This past weekend, we met dozens of nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts at both the Encinitas Fair and the Uncharted Waters event in Carlsbad. We also pledged to plant a tree in honor of National Forest Week for every $10 spent, and we planted 14 trees!
Better yet, we welcomed more than 60 people to the app, reaching 700+ users on Nature’s Playbook. We cannot wait to share the love of nature with each of you and continue to build this beautiful community of nature lovers.
The lineup this weekend is teeing up to be quite entertaining as our team is split between California and Texas to continue growing our nature community.
May the Fourth Be With You
We are stoked for a weekend full of fun between May the 4th and Cinco de Mayo.
On Saturday, May 4th, Gen & the SoCal team will be at Westfield Mission Valley in San Diego all day. If you’re in the area, stop by to say hi and swap nature stories!
Sunday, May 5th is the Carlsbad Street Fair. This event only happens twice a year. It is an opportunity to support local businesses, explore Carlsbad and enjoy the outdoors. We hope to see you there!
Meanwhile, In Texas
Our Texas crew has been planting seeds and spreading roots between Austin and San Antonio, meeting more and more outdoorsy folk who love to hike, bike, canoe and innertube on the local rivers
We cannot wait to hear more stories this weekend from you as we will be at the Tanger Outlets in San Marcos, TX. Look out for PJ & Shane from 10 am-4 pm during the two-day Hometown Vendors Mother’s Day event May 4–5th. Shop, explore and support local at this outdoor market!
Alternatively, you could participate in pre-Cinco de Mayo festivities and congratulate SeedStakes winner Janet! Although Nature’s Playbook will not be set up there, you can support other small businesses and local Austin vendors like Janet while sharing your outdoor experiences on the NP app.
