On the 2nd day of this month, NAVER Cloud signed an MOU with Telkom Data Ekosistem, a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia, which is Indonesia’s national communication network provider, and Cisco Indonesia.

NAVER Cloud has the capacity to provide cloud services a communication industry requires, such as ‘Neurocloud’ which is a hybrid cloud, ‘Public cloud’, ‘Edge cloud’ etc. ‘NeutraDC’, a data center run by Telkom Data Ekosistem is an essential hub platform for expanding cloud business in Indonesia. In addition, we would like to build a new cloud business using Cisco’s technology, which provides easy-to-manage smart cloud IT solutions.

Indonesia is a promising country in terms of business, where various internet companies are driving innovation such as Bukalapak, in which NAVER has invested. We expect condensed growth may be possible by grafting NAVER Cloud technologies onto Indonesia, where 5G is starting to be fully introduced.

According to a research firm, Statista, the public cloud market in Indonesia is estimated to reach an average annual growth of 17.78% and a size of 2.76 billion dollars by 2027.
