August’s the Good, the bad and the Ugly

The Good

1. All students are giving their best in mobilization and every student somehow the other is doing mobilization and making sure that more girls join our campus as everyone was motivated by Rishabh and Prerana that we are here because of someone and we can also make someone’s life better as ours by bringing them in our Navgurukul.
2. This month all our team members were presented here in our campus and it was an awesome experience as we all students were learning from them that how they live their life and how they handle every situation and their presence was also helpful for us that we were able to share our problems with them easily.

3. In this month we had many sessions with our team members, other volunteers who shared their an experience of their life and motivated us, even we had our senior students as our mentor to teach us programming and many more people came in our campus as mentor or volunteer to guide us.

4. We even had session on sexual harassment in which many girls broke down and shared their feelings which they have been hiding from everyone for many years, but now they got that space and shared everything and even in this session helped everyone to become mentally strong and to raise our voice towards sex abuse and harassment, it was really very helpful for all the girls on our campus.

5. We had a session with Surbhi and Divyesh who were the friends of Abhishek as well as they were the social worker they shared their inspiring journey till now and now we are even making a project on sexual harassment and will write a blog on it. We had a session on menstruation and also Jeff who works with Fossil company came from Hongkong shared his life story and even girls of our campus communicated with him, we also had a skype session with Charle’s who works with Fossil and also is a social worker shared his lifespan and guided us on how to manage time and focus on our goal.

6. We had started the induction of new students so the students will connect with each other and there will be transparency between students and everyone will know each other well and understand, as we are a family and there is nothing hidden from the family.

7. We started doing no sleep Saturday Hackathon which are useful for us as we learn more new thing related to the programming and we are getting prepared for our future as in future we will not find difficulty in being woken whole night, and will be able to finish their projects and work.

8. Rishabh and Vedansh took a session in which every student was shown their reflection that how much they are studying and how much they need to study, they guided us to solve the Hacker Rank programs and students started doing them so our algorithm is getting better and also students came to kkn0ow about their interest and then they selected that whether they want to do Android, React or Django.

9. One of the companies hiring from our campus, conducted a test, because of which all the participating students introspected themselves and started working and focusing on their studies.

10. Two students of our campus went to Dewas to set up a new campus we are very excited about our new campus as our NavGurukul is growing and giving the best opportunity to the people who need it the most.

10. We did council meeting with Abhishek where he taught us how to think big and make our vision bigger and better as we are the future of India, he guided us on what we can do for us as well as for our country and make the vision of the people of our country more better and bigger and bring a change in our society.

11. A documentary was made on our campus where the story of Navguruku was narrated, the motive to start Navguruklu was shared and even the students shared their stories.

12. We had a meeting between council members meeting and general body where all their issues were solved and everything is managed properly.
13. We made a new Id on Instagram where we are increasing our followers so that more people can come to know about NavGurukul and more needy students can join us who are capable of studying but because of financial or some personal issues, they are not able to study.

BAD:-
1. The schedule is not followed by the students and there was lots of miss management within the campus because of which all students were scattered within the campus and were not found together as they used to be together and do everything together.

2. There were lots of misunderstanding between everyone and no one had empathy towards each other, students were not communicating with each other and the environment was changing in the campus.

3. One of our volunteers was not able to reach our campus due to not having a proper address which led to suffering the backend students, as they needed the guide for their studies in depth.

4. Rules are not been followed even though they know that rules are been made for their betterment.

UGLY:-
1. Food is getting waste which should not happen as we know that people don’t get food to eat in our society.
2. All the students are getting ill mentally and physically where every student is getting busy in taking care of others, where they are getting diverted from their studies so because of that the environment of study in the campus was getting less.
