Hi Again! A month passed so quickly! We are back with the updates for August!

The Good

  1. We are opening our third campus in Dewas, MP exclusively for girls in less than 15 days from today.
  2. The center is being opened in collaboration with SingaJi College, Dewas and the admissions will start on 6th of Sep.
  3. We are looking forward to collaborate on new centers (admissions, funding, and infrastructure) and are looking for locations like Jaipur, Chandigarh, etc.
  4. Hiring of the students from our old batch has inspired students to push their limits further.
  5. Weekly Hackathon culture to enable students use what they learn during the week.
  6. As a part of Manthan, we are able to partner well with organisations where our students can contribute as well as become more self aware.
  7. Set up robust accounting processes.
  8. Regular payments from the alumni
  9. Workshop on Leadership through the use of Arts and Crafts in our Dharamsala center

The Bad

  1. Student council is doing their job well, but they need more mentorship and support. You can apply to volunteer here.
  2. One of our students suffered from severe mental health issues, due to her difficult past. We are now working on processes for an early diagnosis and remedial with peer and experts.
  3. Communication skills of students needs most improvement.

The Ugly

  1. We underestimated our expenses in infrastructure, and need funds for the same.
  2. We realized some learning gaps in our students, and have to urgently build curriculum and work on its delivery.

What’s Next?

  1. Raise funds for next center and towards better infrastructure for previous centers.
  2. Curriculum building to strengthen our courses
  3. Stronger focus on English through crash courses & continuous interventions

Thanks for being a part of this journey. Hope to achieve greater things together.
