SEV1 Case(severity 1). A breach in the company network!
“That is enough to get everybody in the Cybersecurity team at the edge of their seat. One day it started out fine, but a call from an airline client about their connectivity lose to corporate Data Center made their operations to come to a halt. An airline with no operations means: gounded aircrafts and frustrated customers waiting for departures.
We immediately joined the call and investigated the issue. Evidently, one of the system in the network got infected with a worm and that particular system was trying to generate a lot of traffic to other systems in the network. This increase in traffic led to a CPU spike in the firewall, and the entire network froze from operating.
That is when a Cybersecurity specialist springs to action and makes sure the network is back to normal and in working condition with no further threats. It is a high-stress environment for a short period of time where results matter and not the problem. Quick resolution is what is expected of the team, or else this “downtime” causes loss to their business”

“Have a hacker’s mindset! If someone is explaining to you a system that is secure, rather than buying into their nonsense, you should think ‘How can I hack into this system?’
Once figure out how to hack into the system only then can you think about securing it. That’s where Cybersecurity comes into place.”
