CTO End of Year Message

As the year draws to an end and the holiday season approaches, it’s a fitting moment to reflect on our journey at Nayms. This time, much like the holiday traditions, is about celebrating our progress and acknowledging those pivotal in our journey.

I want to begin by expressing deep gratitude to our investors and backers for their unwavering belief in our mission. In a challenging macro environment, we have seized every opportunity to strengthen our business, ensuring it thrives and provides value regardless of broader conditions. As a result, we are absolutely thrilled to extend this gratitude to our first clients! Your trust in Nayms as early adopters has been crucial in reaching a significant milestone: the successful launch of our platform and the onboarding of our debut accounts. With over 1 million dollars in assets on the latest version of our smart contracts, we have achieved our greatest milestone yet: officially becoming a revenue-generating company! This is validation of our hard work and a true testament to the viability of our vision.

This year has also seen remarkable growth in our team. We’ve welcomed four extraordinary individuals to the Nayms family, each bringing unique strengths and enthusiasm:

• Erik Hansson, our Full Stack Engineer, embodies the spirit of “get it done, and get it done right.” His seamless integration into our team has embodied the spirit of collaboration and shared goals.
• Daniel Klein, our Head of Actuarial, has quickly adapted to and innovatively navigated the unique aspects of our approach to disrupting traditional insurance.
• Milos Radic, our vCISO, impresses us daily with his exceptional blend of business insight and technical expertise.
• Lynette Mutuku, our newest QA Engineer, is rapidly becoming the resident expert on our product, demonstrating her commitment and skill. The expansion of our QA team, especially with Lynette’s recent addition, marks a significant step in refining our operations and ensuring the highest quality in our offerings.

Special recognition goes to several key team members:

• Artyom Avanesov, our Product Manager, has remarkably transformed our operations, significantly enhancing organization and efficiency in our delivery processes. His passion for working with an “awesome team” resonates across Nayms.
• Dalton Alexander, as our UX Lead, has collaborated with Artyom to develop a more intuitive and engaging user interface, starting with the revamped Investor 2.0 experience.
• Aleksandar Marinkovic, our Lead Engineer, deserves immense appreciation. His outstanding problem-solving abilities and innovative technical solutions, crucial to our project’s success, often go unnoticed. Working closely with Aleks this year, I’ve seen firsthand his invaluable contributions.

As we celebrate these achievements and look forward to the holiday season, it’s a time for joy, reflection, and anticipation. The progress we’ve made this year lays a solid foundation for our long-term goals, bringing them increasingly within reach.
