CTO End of Year Message
First things first: I’d like to thank our backers for their continued support and belief in us during this challenging time of wider market fluctuations. Thanks to you, we have only good things to report. We took advantage of this time to really focus on building cool things that will put us in an advantageous position to succeed in 2023 and beyond.
As predicted, 2022 for us was indeed the year of execution. Already having a strong team in place, we added more key players and really put our creativity into gear. Our team doubled this year. We brought on Kevin as our Smart Contracts Lead, Milos as our Full-stack Dev, Weronika as our Marketing Lead, Temar as our Lead Actuary, Nick as our Head of Capital Markets, Lachlan as our Business and Compliance Analyst, Matt as our In-house Counsel, Sarah as our Head of Staff, Gabby as our Head of Compliance and Artyom as our Product Manager. Being surrounded by such competent and motivated people has really made Nayms an awesome place to work and grow.
With our enhanced team in place, we were able to focus on delivering on all fronts:
- On the regulatory side we have achieved full IIGB/DABA licenses and a Segregated Accounts Company in our Bermuda home and we’re ready to do business. Our compliance department is being hardened to make sure it stays that way.
- The legal framework for our Segregated accounts is coming to completion in parallel with our tech.
- We are now capable of full actuarial oversight of all business on our platform.
- On the business development side we are aligning future partners and getting the word out about who we are and what we can do for the space.
- Our tech is also in the final stages of completion. We are wrapping up our second audit on the third version of our smart contracts. Our Dashboard App is feature complete and we’re busy polishing out minor kinks so we can rest easy during the holidays.
Our target for 2023 we will be to bring our first partners onto the platform and produce our first revenue. Continued efforts will include beefing up our cyber security, ongoing hardening of our platform and the technical implementation of our token (NAYM) and associated governance framework.
