On August 18th, 2018, we’re holding the first ever global hack-athon event focused on hacking incentives on a blockchain. We invite you (and your team) to join us. We want to know: How would you develop an application for use cases like this, this, this, this or these? What other applications can you imagine BUIDLing on our blockchain?

HackCent participants will range from non-developers, developers, individuals and teams. We challenge you to build full stack applications using our sandbox and SDK.
The event will be held on Saturday, August 18th, 2018, from 9 am to 9 pm, in Redwood City, California and online for remote teams. (Address will be disclosed to those who register.) We’ll have three finalists by the end of Saturday night, and the winner will be decided by telegram vote. Prizes and job interviews will be awarded to the winning projects.
For those unable to participate locally, dial in and hack with us remotely. (Video conference details will be disclosed upon registration.) Every participant will receive nCent swag and jobCents.

What You Should Do Next

(1) Finish reading this article — we include at the bottom a technical note about the basic operations that can be performed on NCNT. Developers will need to know this information in order to create the winning application.

(2) Assemble your team, if you have one, and register for the hackathon.

(3) Go to our Github and familiarize yourself with our sandbox and SDK.

(4) Hack with us on Saturday, August 18th, 2018, either in person or remotely.

From here, remember to check out our Github sandbox and SDK and register for hackCent.

If you have any questions, email me directly at I hope to see you at the hack-athon (in person or remotely). To stay in the nCent loop, follow me on twitter and join our international telegram channel.
