What Is An NCO?

NFT Coin Offering = Limited-edition NFTs as investment slots.

Each NFT contains a claimable link for predefined amounts of $RCDY tokens as unlockable content upon the purchase of the NFT.

In other words, you are buying ERC-20 tokens by means of ERC-721 tokens.

What’s Special About NCOs?

  • An NCO NFT acts as proof-of-investment, receipt, and the unrestricted right to the invested assets at the same time.
  • It’s the most direct, efficient, and authentic way for someone to invest — you buy the NFT → you can instantly claim your tokens.
  • It’s organically filtering against non-NFT natives, as the very process requires (at least) a basic understanding of transacting with NFTs.
  • It’s a novel NFT use case. We always like to push the boundaries of what’s possible with NFTs.

Where Did That Come From?

For us, belonging in the NFT scene is equal to actively looking to broaden the scope of NFT use-cases. With regard to raising funds, there are several existing options; from the old ICO to the more recent IDO, IEO, and Fairlaunch models.

Yet, none seemed to match RareCandy3D’s identity and vision.

Therefore, we decided to do the extra step and pioneer a new fundraising format which itself is an NFT.

Why Are We Doing An NCO Now?

The way for crypto-projects to fundraise has been generally following the same pattern: Come up with a presentable concept (mostly in the form of a website) for a product/service that you will deliver after investors fund you for what you are pitching.

We thought the opposite.

Let’s first develop and secure a functional battle-tested service, and then look for third-party support; be it NFT-investors, crypto-collectors, VCs, DAOs, or anybody who’s respecting our effort and resonating with our vision.

How Do I Participate?

According to our tokenomics model, 31.5% of the total $RCDY supply is reserved for sale and distributed in four investment rounds followed by public listings.

NCO = Investment rounds. You can think of these rounds as 4 NFT drops (grades). Each grade involves a predefined amount of NFT editions (slots), each containing a unique Roll earn code among the unlockable content. The slots are inversely related to the amount of $RCDY tokens contained in each grade.

A, and B grades give instant access to 50% of the allocated tokens, while the remaining 50% is released and will be claimable by January 2023. C, and D grade tickets give instant access to 100% of the allocated tokens.

  • A Grade: 5 slots x 1% (100,000 RCDY x 5) — Token ID: 67–71
  • B Grade: 13 slots x 0,5% (50,000 RCDY x 13) — Token ID:72–84
  • C Grade: 20 slots x 0,2% (20,000 RCDY x 20) — Token ID: RARI-1155
  • D Grade: 60 slots x 0,1% (10,000 RCDY x 60) — Token ID: RARI-1155

If you have bought an NFT before, there’s not much more to explain. Here’s the OpenSea link.
