As previously announced, I’ll start hosting Twitter spaces, and my first one will be dedicated to “Doing good on-chain.”

• What difficulties do social-impact-focused causes face when raising money?

Emily Rose Dallara, Web3 and Thrive

Emily is a seasoned Marketing Consultant in Web 3 and fractional CMO, an EMCC leadership coach in training, Host of Web 3 and Thrive podcast, Board Advisor at Lifetise (a Tradfi to Defi product), and advisor to multiple other impact projects in the space.

She has led marketing teams in crypto and blockchain since 2016. This includes; product marketing at Bitcoin.com, Global Head of Marketing at Liquid Exchange (now part of FTX), where she took user retention from 10% to over 60% and Head of Product Marketing at OKX Global and AAX Global, and fractional CMO at SL2 Capital.

Toby Lewis, Metalink Capital

Toby Lewis, CEO of Metalink Capital, a fund as well as frontier technology market monitoring company Novum Insights’ founder and CEO, is a repeat entrepreneur and well-known investor and analyst in the fields of blockchain, artificial intelligence, robotics, fintech, and venture capital.

He was one of the co-founders of venture capital analyst company Global Corporate Venturing, where he led both the analytics team and its editorial efforts. Lewis has written regularly for the Wall Street Journal.

Lewis has spoken at numerous international technology conferences, including Blockchain for Humanity, which took place during the World Economic Forum, Global Technology Symposium, South Summit, White Bull, Tech Tour, and Global Corporate Venturing.
