“Hoy, ano na naman itong pakulo ninyo sa aming mga artists?” Baka natanong mo na bakit ganito ang title nito? Wow, Never-Fading-Togetherness pa daw. Sige nga, explain mo.

Siempre, dito sa NEAR PH, tinatry nalaga namin na magin successful kayo as artists, not Suck Cesspool. LOL. Pero sa totoo lang, it’s tempting talaga to make a shortcut when it comes sa mga NFT projects na ganito.

Scam yan!!! Crypto? Naku, maraming naloko dyan. Ngayon hindi na sila skeptical, pero they are SKIPping-TICking-CALLing na sila. Yumayaman na. Paburger naman dyan, mga OG ng Paras! Wooohooo!!!

Ang totoo you may have seen the final output of these folks like Hero, Parzi, Dane, and the rest of the gang, but you may not have seen the sweat, blood, and tears that they had to exude, the sleepless nights when they were toiling on their craft. Now they are reaping the benefits of their labors.

Pwede mo rin ma abot ito, sa pamamagitan ng mindsetting. You see, not all NFT projects succeed, but if you try to be strategic a bit and employ some of the tips that are outlined in this article, you may be able to have long-term success as an NFT project.

Numero Uno: Know Your Audience

Sino ba talaga ang market mo dito? Sino ba talaga ang siniserve mo as your audience. You see, the artistic aspect is just one side of the coin. Pero if you can figure out talaga kung sino ang pinaka audience mo, mas ma tatailor mo ang iyong approach.

Are you making art for those who are struggling with depression? I don’t know; that’s for you to find out. Are you targeting those who belong to a certain group of people with a message? For example, are you eyeing to serve those who have been affected by the Covid 19 indirectly, perhaps those whose family members have died from the virus? These are just the examples that you can think about your audience.

Or you may start with yourself. Do you have a certain cause that you try to promote, perhaps independence? Then you can start from there and do a little market research about the same people who can resonate with your message. After all, if you want to play the long-term game here, you may as well do what you love so that when the goings get tough, you can still persist.

But also, don’t overly cater to just your own likes. You can find the sweet spot between what your audience wants and what you are passionate about. If you only cater to your audience and forget your own passion, it may work for a while but maybe not long term. Who knows, this could work, too! Again the point is just to know whom you are trying to target here.

Numero Dos: Create a Narrative

Dito ka talaga tatagal. Kasi, after you have figured out who your audience is, then you can plan a series of projects that build on top of one another, especially building one on top of the previous one. Parang sequel, diba? Parang Kdrama lang yan eh. Pag na hook ka na sa first and second episodes, then you are gonna be committed to watch the remaining 18 episodes or se.

In the same vein, you can start with the first chapters of your longer narrative by releasing a glimpse into what the future holds for this character or idea. This is where you can capitalize on the sequels. Pretty much like the Avengers or Spiderman series, diba? Narratives are the stories that we tell ourselves that we can relate to.

So for example, if you have found out that a sizable crypto community is gravitating towards greener initiatives, such as fighting climate change, then you can make a narrative, a mini-comic storyline that you can periodically release over the period of 2 years. You might want to allude to the devastation by Typhoon Odette. If people who have been affected directly and indirectly want to reminisce what happened to their family during the typhoon last December 2021, then you can make a series out of that narrative.

Numero Tres: Think Long-Term

This is the test of your commitment to your work. If your community or audience sees that you are investing yourself with your time, sweat, and attention, they may be able to support you as well. They are the patrons of your work. You serve them your art by capturing their unactualized emotions or stories, and they buy your NFT, then you get paid. It’s as simple as that.

This is where you can shine as the leader of your community. If you find your niche by figuring out your target audience, creating a narrative, and reassuring them that buy holding to your NFT project will create not just the monetary increase in value, but also the stories behind those works of art.

As an artist, you have an obligation to the world. People need you to flesh out their unexpressed emotions, sometimes you can let them discover a part of themselves that they may not have considered before. That’s the power of being an NFT artist. More than that, if you capture the attention of your 1000 true fans, then you can be sustainable. As long as you just live below your means, at least for now, and continue to serve your target market slash community, then you can succeed not only in the short NEAR term but also in the long term.

Find this article helpful? Like mo, share mo, tweet mo, retweet mo. Oh diba? Ipasa mo sa mga NFT artists na kakilala mo, especially sa mga bagohan.

Oh sha sha, hanggang sa muling pagkikita ulit. See you in the NEARVERSE.
