A Step-by-Step Guide To Aurora +

Getting started with Aurora+
To sign up to Aurora+, you need a MetaMask wallet. The platform will prompt you to download one if you don’t have it installed already on your browser.
Once you’ve installed and signed in to MetaMask, you can claim your free Aurora+ account by inputting your email and receiving a one-time link to access the account.
If you already have an Aurora+ account, then logging in is as easy as inputting your email address to get a one-time link to click (1) or logging in with your MetaMask account (2)
Notice how your MetaMask wallet appears in the top right corner (1) after login? You can now follow a swift and descriptive three-step process to set up your Aurora+ account (2).
Aurora+ will redirect you to MetaMask to initially switch your selected network to anything other than Aurora Mainnet. For example, I switched to the Ethereum Mainnet.
After switching your network (to Ethereum, for example), Aurora+ will prompt you to add a new network, which will be the Aurora+ network. It will be added to your MetaMask. Click on Add Network.
After clicking on Add Network, compare the details on Aurora+ (1) to that prompt on Metamask (2). If they match, scroll down and click on Add Network in the MetaMask prompt. For security reasons, do not share your network details with anyone (3).
Once the Network addition is complete, switch your MetaMask network to Aurora+ (if it is not done automatically) and click on Take me to my dashboard.
Welcome to your Aurora+ dashboard! Immediately, you can see your Different balances (1), your call to action (2), and a nifty Rainbow Bridge option (3). You can also see your monthly free transaction counter (4) in the center of the section.
To begin transferring assets and staking, Connect your wallet (5) and then click on the Bridge button (3) to use the Rainbow Bridge. You can bridge from either Ethereum or NEAR.
Use the Rainbow Bridge to transfer your assets from NEAR or Ethereum to Aurora.
After using the Rainbow Bridge, you will be prompted to swap the bridged asset to $AURORA (1) (In the example, I used NEAR, which is automatically converted to wNEAR on the Bridge). You can see the transaction fee of the swap (2). The transaction is free!
After bridging and transferring your assets to Aurora+, you will be able to see your Available Balance (1), and the Stake button will be activated (2).
After clicking the Stake button, you will be prompted to input the amount you wish to stake. Input the amount and click on Confirm.
Once the amount is confirmed, you will be asked to approve the staking. Click on Approve my Aurora to validate. This transaction will also be free.
After staking is validated, you can see your Staked Balance (1) and the estimated Total APR (2).
The next section of the page is labeled Ecosystem Streams and shows you your rewards from across different projects on Aurora (3). Also, clicking on Staked Balance (1) will switch to Total Earned and show you how much $AURORA you’ve earned. The dollar value of your balance underneath the Staked Balance saves you the hassle of doing the conversion manually.
The last section of the page is the Featured Apps section. It shows selected Dapps on Aurora, with a brief description (1) to introduce you to each project. Finally, you can click on See all apps (2) to see all the apps on Aurora.
