One year ago, the Open Web Collective was coming to life with the objective of supporting entrepreneurs in their Web3 ventures by connecting them with founders, providing mentorship, and more. Just a few months down the road, the OWC has grown to have a thriving community of founders, VCs across Web 2 & 3, and alumni that have raised over $63 millions to date.

The success of the OWC is reflected in the projects it has helped take off. Among the most promising projects are NYM Technologies, Flux, and Verida, that have raised up to $10 millions in their seed round. This was just the beginning for the OWC community as exciting new projects are around the corner.

Founder Mildred Idada gave us a taste of what is coming next for the OWC:

“We’re excited to unveil V2 of OWC in the coming months. Some of the changes will include new channels for OWC to connect with the community and for the community to connect with each other. We’ll continue our mission of supporting early teams and talent in web 3.0 — powered by and for entrepreneurs and builders. And we’ll add on new mandates, like investing outside of our programs and partnering with friends like IOSG or Kernel and more”.

But that is not all!

The Third Open Web Collective’s Accelerator Program Is Coming Soon

Hear from the Batch 1 founders on how the OWC supported their web3 startup.

The OWC has just closed the applications for the third batch of the OWC accelerator program. The three month long program targets startups that are eager for guidance in the evaluation of business ideas, products, KPIs definition and growth and fundraising.

The program offers an incredible opportunity for founders to be guided through the often tortuous path of pre-seed and seed development. On top of that, it will also unlock opportunities to connect with leading corporate partners such as Pantera Capital, Fenwick & West LLP, Economic Design, Republic Crypto and more.

If this is something that you or other startups would be interested in, be sure to follow OWC on twitter to keep updated on when the next round of applications will be open. For more info on the program and the previous edition consult the OWC’s website. The OWC community will be happy to help you in your venture!

Be sure to follow the Open Web Collective on Twitter.
