Inite Awarded Grant to Build NFT Gaming Platform on NEAR
NEAR Foundation has awarded a $50,000 grant to Inite to help it develop its NFT-based gaming platform.
Inite is a platform where users discover, share and monetize ideas. Inite had been searching for the best solution on which to build its INIT and IDEA tokens. After extensive research, Inite chose NEAR because the team felt inspired by the blockchain’s seamless, future-oriented technologies.
The $50,000 grant will help Inite build its NFT marketplace on the NEAR blockchain, and deploy its native INIT and IDEA tokens quickly and easily.
For the Inite team, part of the attraction to NEAR was Aurora, the Ethereum Virtual Machine that promises 1,000 times lower gas fees, 50 times higher TPS, proof sharding architecture, and an actual carbon-neutral value proposition than is offered elsewhere.
They also saw in NEAR a great partner for generating new ideas and finding new opportunities within the blockchain’s community.

Inite is backed by Crypto Gaming United (CGU), a platform that brings people from developing countries together to build new virtual economies, and will offer its league members an opportunity to hone their gaming skills inside of Inite’s sandbox.
While the CGU and Inite teams are still developing the technology stack, the concept behind the cooperation has been defined. CGU players come to Inite sandbox to share their ideas, earn additional game points, and improve their characters’ skills and level. The game points can then be converted to real cash or used to buy metaverse assets with in-app NFT marketplace.
