Merry Xmas and #HappyNewNEAR — 3 Weeks of Festive Activities
Christmas NFT Giveaway and Grant Raffle of over 10,000 NEAR
Holiday season is about to start, and it wouldn’t be complete without festival activities and presents. @NEAR_Blockchain is joining hands with MetaWeb Ventures and an array of NEAR-powered projects to spread joy and celebrate together. Starting from December 19, 2022 to January 6, 2023, we’ll initiate a 3-week straight of activities for all NEARians worldwide.
Our event partners include MetaWeb Ventures, Aurora, Proximity Labs, Octopus Network, Cornerstone, Ref.finance, Paras, Sender Wallet, Connect3, LiNEAR, Sweat Economy, Jumbo, Niche, KINO, Pembrock, Reality Chain, PinkPea, Aurigami, Burrow, Trisolaris, Arctic, Tonic, Orderly Network, Notifi and Magna.
We’d also like to acknowledge our community partners such as 0x499, NEARWeek, NEAR Insider, NEAR China Hub and NEAR Vietnam Hub.
How to participate
The 3-week of #HappyNewNEAR activities are open to all community members who meet each activity’s requirements. Some activities require simple social interaction and complete certain tasks requested by the project partners. We also have festive quizzes that test your NEAR knowledge, and Twitter Space events that let you listen to and engage with our thought leaders.
Each activity has a different starting date, so please pay attention and follow us on Twitter to make sure you don’t miss a single one.
In order to receive the prize and Grand Raffle Tickets, you will need to have a .near wallet account. If you haven’t done so already, please create your NEAR wallet at https://wallet.near.org/
December 23–26 — NEAR Xmas NFT Giveaway
To participate: You’ll have to follow our Twitter, quote retweet the event post with something festive and make sure your comment also includes your .near account.
Prize: We’ll pick a total of 200 random winners, 100 of them will receive limited NEAR-themed Christmas NFT and the remaining 100 winners will receive Grand Raffle Tickets.
December 28 & January 4 — The Festive Quizzes
To participate: You’ll have to answer the quiz with 5 questions about NEAR and the ecosystem projects. Carefully read the questions and answer them correctly, as even one wrong answer will ruin your chances of winning.
Prize: For each quiz, we will pick 200 random winners who answer all the questions correctly to receive Grand Raffle Tickets
December 19 & 22 , January 5 — NEAR Spirit Twitter Space Events
We are hosting three Twitter Space events with notable thought leaders on @NEAR_Blockchain Twitter handle.
To participate: You will have to retweet the Twitter Space post, ask a question in the comment section, and tag a few friends to join.
Prize: We will select 200 random winners from each Twitter Space who ask a good question and participate in the Twitter Space.

December 19, 2022 to January 6, 2023 — The NEAR Hunt
Some of our project partners will be hosting the NEAR Hunt events on their own Twitter channels. You will know the participating projects and their tasks via social media. Make sure you follow @NEAR_blockchain and check out the projects timely.
To participate: You’ll have to follow their Twitter and complete their tasks. Each project will give out 50 Grand Raffle tickets for selected members.
Prize: Grand Raffle Tickets
January 15, 2023 — The Grand Raffle and Winner Announcement
We will distribute the raffle tickets on a weekly basis. Top 15 winners will receive 100 NEAR each, and the rest of Grand Raffle ticket holders will get to share more than 10,000 NEAR tokens together with some project tokens and NFTs.
Apart from the above tasks and activities, we will also select active members and gift them Grand Raffle Tickets as a Holiday Present. So remember to complete as many tasks as you can.
The Grand Raffle will be conducted post-event and we will announce the winners on January 15,2023. Watch our social media for the announcement of winners and celebrate #HappyNewNEAR with us.
