Naksh: A New Indian NFT Platform Launches on NEAR
Naksh is an NFT marketplace fueled by skilled artists from all over India working with digital and traditional art forms. Unlike most other revolutions in the art world, which focused on the medium and what can be done with it, the latest revolution of NFTs has more to do with exchange and ownership.
One can’t help but notice that most exchanges happening through NFTs involve digital art and artists, something which seems unconvincing in today’s day and age, where connectivity and outreach are extremely convenient. This was the driving force behind the envisioning of Naksh as an NFT marketplace. At Naksh, we want to support the incredible diversity in art and expression across India, by merging the new world of NFTs with traditional arts and craft.

Naksh aims at building a community that will work towards the rebirth of the Indian traditional art market — helping artists bring their work to more collectors across the globe. And to build this community right, we have taken the decision of building it on NEAR protocol.
