Near Future: Classic Art Airdrop
NEAR Future, NEAR’s fist evolving tribal role playing game, announced its first free art airdrop. Learn all about the unique in-game features that this airdrop will unlock and who will be eligible to receive it.
What is the Classic Art Airdrop?
The Near Future is evolving into its Classical Era, and it’s ready to welcome the NEAR community to join this new exciting journey. To mark the beginning of this era NEAR Future will present a free airdrop of Classic Art NFTs to all NEARGens who participate in the NF: Classic Vote.
The airdrop will take place from 8th July — 11th July and the official website link will go live in the NEAR Future Discord at 1pm UTC on 8th July → https://discord.gg/6KdKKUuj7Y
NEARGens, will be able to choose their favourite Post-Historic Era and in return, be airdropped NEAR Future’s unique 1/1 Art NFT for that theme. The most voted era will then become the main source of inspiration for developing the Classical Era’s story, including its tone of voice and aesthetic.
These art NFTs will also unlock a unique playable skin for the NEAR Future Discord RPG (only available through the Art NFTs). Furthermore, everyone who participates in this airdrop will receive a special surprise — to be publicly announced post airdrop.
Who can participate?
Besides Nearbot Drivers, all NEARGens i.e. holders of any top NEAR NFT project are welcome to take part in the vote. The shamans aren’t a fan of sleepy NEARGens though, so best to keep active and lurk around the Near Future yourself!

Cross-Project Competition
To spice it up, NEAR Future will be hosting a NEAR cross-project competition for the community that is able to garner the most votes for any one of the Post-Historic Eras.
The winning community of each era will receive a unique custom-made 1/1 Classic Nearbot NFT to be given away to one lucky member of their community post NFC mint.
What’s next for the Near Future?
Since the Near Future: Primal (NFP) mint, NEAR Future has been hard at work building its Discord RPG. This will enable on-chain upgradeable NEAR NFTs and the creation of a gamified experience to evolve its NFT project and strategic partnerships.
In the lead-up to the Classic (NFC) mint, NEAR Future will be opening the Closed Beta to allow more Primal Nearbots to jump into the action and begin to explore the life of a Nearbot in the wilderness. To further curate its Discord as a hub of activity on NEAR, NEAR Future will also be hosting competitions, games and events. Thus, be sure to not be a sleeping NEARGen and join in on the fun!
