NEAT, an inscription protocol developed on NEAR protocol, has now gone live with its Wrap function. This feature enables users to easily convert NEAT inscriptions into NEP-141 tokens with just one click, expanding the possibilities for NEAT inscriptions.

NEP-141, the primary fungible token standard in the NEAR ecosystem, similar to ERC-20 in Ethereum, is used by various assets including wNEAR and Ref.

With NEAT’s new Wrap function for NEP-141, users gain access to numerous NEP-141 supported applications, including established DeFi applications within the NEAR ecosystem (e.g., DEX/Lending).

The NEAT team plans to introduce the Unwrap function later on, allowing bi-directional conversion, such as converting NEP-141 standard NEAT tokens back to NRC-20 standard.

The Wrap function of NEAT is executed by smart contract. It ensures that only when a user initiates a request, the contract will wrap the corresponding amount. This exclusive permission for users guarantees the security of the operation.

Furthermore, NEAT as NEP-141 is now available on Ref Finance, enabling users to trade and add liquidity.

How to Operate

To use this function, visit the NEAT website, click on Wrap, enter the desired amount, and click the Wrap button.

Stay tuned for more updates from NEAT!
