Roketo Donates To Kyiv Biennial As Part of Sponsoring “For Ukraine” Hackathon
As you may remember, we were excited to sponsor “For Ukraine” Hackathon organized by NEAR UA community on May 6–20. This event had a great socially significant goal of solving crisis in the Ukrainian cultural domain revealed by the ongoing conflict.
Roketo donated 2,000 USN to the general prize pool of 15,000 USN and came up with a dedicated challenge with a prize of 3,000 USN. The challenge was to build a streaming solution that can be easily embedded in any website to become an easy-to-use means of payment.
And now it’s time to honour the winners!
We were impressed to see amazing solutions that were developed by 140 ethical hackers during this competition. They will definitely make the life of people affected by war a little easier.
The four winners were announced by NEAR UA community:
1st place & 4000 $ in NEAR — Atomiclab
2nd place & 3000 $ in NEAR — Ukrainian Magicals
3rd place & 2000$ in NEAR — Waka
4th place & 1000$ in NEAR — Jelilat
All of them have received their prize through Roketo stream. Our streams are publicly accessible and can be tracked in real time which makes the rewarding process completely transparent. It was also the first time we streamed assets through a NEAR-based USN stable coin tied to the USD rate. You can take a look at the winners’ streams here:
As for Roketo’s challenge, this time it was hard for us to pick an outstanding solution and we decided to donate 3,000 USN to Kyiv Biennial, emergency support initiative that assists the artistic community of Ukraine in the conditions of war. You can watch our stream in real time here!
