stats.gallery Is Your Friendly Guide to the NEAR Ecosystem

stats.gallery is a new project designed to help users get to grips with the NEAR ecosystem.

The project, created by Jacob Lindahl and Dan Podkovko provides NEAR wallet users with a snapshot of their activity on the network as well as opportunities to earn rewards for using different features.

To get started, users simply add their wallet address to the stats.gallery page and an infographic will reveal their usage, and help people explore NEAR by completing certain tasks.

At launch, those tasks include transferring and receiving NEAR, creating new accounts, deploying contracts and making function calls. There’s also a gamification element to stats.gallery, too. Users can earn badges for completing questions including:

• Receiving an NFT
• Performing a token transfer
• Making 10 or more token transfers
• Staking

There’s also a leaderboard so wallet users can see how they rank compared with other NEAR community members.

“stats.gallery is not intended as a competitor to core resources like Wallet and Explorer. Instead, it’s a lighthearted guide and tool for everyone to use and reference as an easily-digestible and fun dashboard,” says Jacob Lindahl and Dan Podkovko.

The team plans on releasing a host of new features including more badges and charts, more leaderboards and a community governance system.
