The First Ever Community-Run NEAR Youtube Channel Is Now Live
Today is an exciting day as the first ever community-run NEAR Youtube channel just launched! The channel, “NEAR Degen Syndicate”, dropped the first installment in a series called “#NEAR Weekly News”, which recaps some of the most notable events in the NEAR ecosystem each week.
This will be a great entry point for newcomers who are curious about what is going on right now on NEAR Protocol and is much welcomed effort for the existing community. With almost daily announcements on partnerships, product and guild launches, funding opportunities, technical updates, AMAs, NFT drops (and the list goes on…), it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the ever-growing NEAR ecosystem. The NEAR Degen Syndicate Youtube channel aspires to be the hub for all visualized NEAR news and information in the coming future.
The Team
The self-titled “NEAR Degen Syndicate” is a group of seven NEAR community ambassadors: Grigory, Oleg, Gulnara, Dmitry, Stanislav, Nikita, and Denis.
The seven of them are childhood friends from the same Russian town, and discovered NEAR through Figment LEARN and NEAR Crowd. Once they were convinced of the long-term vision NEAR has for the future of Web3 and its potential as a blockchain protocol, they decided to take on a more active role as NEAR community ambassadors. With each their own set of specialties such as web development, social media management, videography, web design, and visual effects, it was only natural to start a Youtube channel which would introduce NEAR to a general audience.
What can you expect from the “NEAR Syndicate” channel? Dmitry says:
One of our main goals is to attract an audience and show that the blockchain and crypto world in general is not only about trading various coins, but also the development of projects, ecosystems and even games. We believe that a successful strategy is to attract the younger generation. In the future they can become the basis for new projects that will change the world.
In terms of content, we can expect video tutorials for NEAR products, detailed introductions to projects, as well as guides for developers who want to create their own dapps on NEAR.
