NeatFi is a DeFi protocol that allows other smart contracts to integrate with it and provide services to their consumers. With NeatFi V1, every smart contract can have a supercharged token marketplace, offering swapping, selling, and auctioning of ERC20/721/1155 tokens in batches and in a single transaction.

Read our introductory blog post if you want to learn more about what NeatFi is.

NeatFi V1 was developed and launched in 2022, containing three modules : Asset Swap, Asset Sell, and Asset Auction.

NeatFi 2023 development roadmap

2023 will be focused on the following tracks:

  1. NeatFi protocol: the core protocol that contains the NeatFi modules.
  2. Neatswap: the consumer-facing app built by the NeatFi team (we will be building apps along with the community on our protocol) to implement the V1 modules.
  3. Governance : making sure the NeatFi community has the necessarily tools to launch the governance process of the protocol.
  4. Infrastructure: necessary work to implement NeatFi on the most popular Ethereum L2s (Arbitrum, Optimism) and, possibly, other EVM-compatible L1s such as Polygon and Solana.

Here is how we plan to focus our team resources on those four tracks during 2023.

An important goal for the team is to launch NeatFi V2, containing the AMM collection of modules. With this collection, the protocol will be able to support creation of both single-pair and multi-pair liquidity pools, as well as support several price generation models, from linear to more complex and innovative ones.

Another successful milestone will be the launch of Neatswap, one of the many (yet to come) consumer-facing apps built on NeatFi that will implement all of the available modules of NeatFi V1. As a reminder, the implementation contract of Neatswap is open-source and, since it is a template contract, everyone can clone the repo and start building their consumer-facing apps on NeatFi.
